Terms of Use
These terms apply when you use the Shh Head app or this website. By creating an account or playing, you agree to them. Shh Head is run by Humpback Corp (“we”, “us”).
The game
Shh Head is a digital version of a card game people have played for generations. The game itself belongs to everyone; the app, its name, design, artwork and code are ours.
Shh Head is free. It is currently an invite-only beta, which means features can change, things can break, and we may need to reset rankings or game history while we improve it. If we ever introduce paid features, we will tell you and update these terms first.
Your account
- You must be at least 16 years old.
- Use an email address you control. Your account is personal: don’t share it, sell it or transfer it.
- You are responsible for what happens on your account. If you think someone else has access to it, email humpbackcorp@protonmail.com.
- You can delete your account at any time from Settings in the app.
Play fair
When you use Shh Head, don’t:
- Cheat, use outside bots or scripts to play for you, or exploit bugs to win or climb the rankings.
- Create multiple accounts to manipulate matches, rankings or invitations.
- Harass, threaten or abuse other players, including through your display name.
- Choose a display name that is offensive or pretends to be someone else.
- Try to break, overload or reverse-engineer the service, or access parts of it you aren’t meant to.
If you find a bug that gives an unfair advantage, tell us instead of using it.
What we can do
We can remove offensive display names, reset results gained unfairly, and suspend or close accounts that break these terms. Where it is needed to protect other players, we may do this without notice. If you think we got it wrong, email humpbackcorp@protonmail.com.
We may change, pause or stop the service. If we shut Shh Head down, we will try to tell you in advance.
Your information
How we handle personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy.
App stores
If you downloaded Shh Head from the App Store or Google Play, their terms also apply to your download. Apple and Google are not responsible for the app or for supporting it; we are.
No guarantees
We work hard to keep Shh Head running and fair, but it is provided “as is” and “as available”. We can’t promise it will always be available or free of errors, or that your progress will never be lost, especially during the beta.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses caused by events outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot legally be limited, or affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top of this page and, for significant changes, let you know in the app or by email. If you keep playing after a change, the updated terms apply.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the country where Humpback Corp is registered. If you use Shh Head as a consumer and live elsewhere, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country.
